Rylen is a dedicated scholar of the study and wisdom of wholistic healthcare and Chinese medicine. She has been a therapist and instructor since 1990. Rylen graduated from San Francisco State University, cum laude, with a B.A. in Psychology. She then continued her education at the New York College for Wholistic Health Education and Research and The Clayton School of Natural Healing where she studied wholistic health, European and Amma Bodywork Therapy, herbs, and nutrition. A lifetime student, Rylen has recently completed a two year study of the inner traditions of Chinese Medicine with Lonny Jarrett. Rylen has been on various boards for complementary health, including serving as past Director of Education for the AOBTA (American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia) and as been an active voice in the community for health and wellness. Rylen brought the Amma program to Idaho in 1992. She is a passionate instructor who is committed to The Wellspring’s continued excellence.

April's interest in Asian philosophy and culture began in 1989 when she began practicing Aikido.  She then continued her martial arts with Won Hop Loong Chuan, Pyong Hua Do Taekwan Do, T'ai Chi and Qigong.  She graduated from the Amma Bodywork Therapy program and began practicing in 1994. Since then, she has maintained a strong practice in wholistic healthcare, Chinese medicine, nutrition, and herbs. In 2000, she helped found Crowell, Feeney and Associates, Health and Wellness Cooperative with other like-minded professionals.  April is dedicated to the traditions and principles of a wholistic lifestyle and the values of maintaining health. She continues to share her enthusiasm, knowledge, and brilliance with The Wellspring and the community and is currently studying Chinese Medicine in evolutionary context with Lonny Jarrett.

A Certified Nutritionist, Natural Foods Chef and Adjunct Faculty at Bastyr University, Jennifer promotes a delicious, integrative approach to nutrition to audiences and individuals. By introducing people to healthier nutritional options and explaining the chemistry and philosophy behind those choices, she empowers clients to develop lifelong, healthy, and conscious relationships with food. Jennifer holds a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Counseling from Bastyr University, a Graduate Certificate in Spirituality Health & Medicine and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She trained at the School of Natural Cookery in Boulder, Colorado, one of the most respected schools of its kind in the nation. She also has extensive training in Ayurveda and whole foods preparation, and is licensed by the State of Washington as a Certified Nutritionist.

Susan Gins is a private practice nutritionist in Seattle and Issaquah, Washington.  She earned a Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University (located in Kenmore, WA) and is a Washington State Dept. of Health Certified Nutritionist.  Susan began her career in nutrition after raising a family and having a successful career in textile art.  As a result, she brings a wealth of experience and perspective to her nutritional counseling.  Focused on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle throughout life and the healing power of food, Susan encourages her clients to set realistic and personalized goals, and to implement gradual changes.

Bill, an ordained Taoist priest, has been studying Chinese martial and healing arts since 1965. He specializes in Taijiquan, Tuina Chinese Bodywork, Qigong, and herbal medicine. Bill is a 20th-generation inner disciple of Grandmaster Chen Xiaowan. He studied traditional Chinese medicine in China at the Shanghai College of Medicine and the Beijing Olympic Training Center, and in the United States with Taoist Master Share K. Lew and Dr. Yu Da Fang. Bill is the Director of the Taoist Sanctuary of San Diego and the Dean of Allied Arts at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in California.

As a former graduate of the Amma Bodywork Program at The Wellspring School for Healing Arts, Joan values the role that education plays in our personal health care. In today’s society, where we have left our health in the care of professionals, Joan sheds light on the importance of the conscious and unconscious decisions we make, that allow our health to spiral out of our own control. Her passion is to empower each individual to determine the best course of action for their health by giving them simple yet accurate knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the personal disharmony they are experiencing. Through diet, exercise and treatment, Joan would like to assist you on your path to wellness. Joan also teaches qigong and some of the didactic classes at The Wellspring School for Healing Arts.

Kristina Katinka brings a gentle technique and nurturing spirit to her acupuncture practice. She believes in providing comprehensive wellness and preventive care, while educating patients and the community about the benefits of Chinese medicine. Kristina began her formal studies of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in 1999. She studied Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the Northwest Institute of Oriental Medicine (NIAOM) in Seattle, Washington. Continuing her education at the Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Kristina graduated with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, (MSOM). Kristina is certified in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs and Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM.

Erica LaFrenier graduated from the East–West College of the Healing Arts in 1996. She pursued her healing arts education by studying traditional Chinese medicine at The Wellspring School and graduated from the Amma Bodywork Therapy Program in 1998. She is currently a third-year student of the Ling Gui International Healing Qigong School in Seattle, Washington. She is certified to teach several of the Ling Gui Qigong forms (Liu Dong's methods). She has also completed her Health Science degree with a minor in Chinese Studies at Boise State University.

Cynthia J. Langston graduated from Idaho School of Massage Therapy in 1984 and has been at her practice ever since. Her area of expertise is Connective Tissue Bodywork, based on the work of Dr. Janet Travell in the area of myofascial pain and dysfunction. Additionally, the myofascial release and craniosacral techniques, are the key ingredients in a successful medical massage career spanning nearly a quarter century. Cynthia used these skills almost exclusively during the 8 years in a chiropractic setting working with acute injuries, whiplash and chronic pain. Additionally, two years in Boise State University’s Athletic Training program helped hone her skill with athletic injuries
In 1991 Cynthia developed and offered instruction in Connective Tissue Bodywork becoming a reliable source of manual Trigger point therapy in the Treasure Valley. In 1994 Cynthia joined Ruth R. Haefer, co-owning Idaho School of Massage Therapy, serving as Administrator and Director of Education. As one of the primary instructors at ISMT, she taught Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, Professionalism, Record Keeping, Sports Massage, Spa Applications and 5 separate classes Connective Tissue Bodywork. As an avid athlete, Cynthia has enjoyed a variety of physical outlets, including soccer, taekwondo, sea kayaking, swing and ballroom dancing.

Aaron Noleen first became interested in the energy contained within the human body in his teens. A simple exercise introduced him to the world of what we are capable of creating and the idea that energy (or Qi) is what truly determines the quality of our lives. Aaron’s first formal training with Qi was taking his Reiki I and II initiations in 1993 and 1995. In 1999, he graduated from The Wellspring School for Healing Arts and has been practicing Amma Bodywork Therapy ever since. Aaron spends much of his time teaching and assisting classes and clinics for The Wellspring as well as volunteering for various activities throughout the Valley. By attending continuing education classes, practicing Tai Chi, and meditation, Aaron strives to deepen his awareness of the energy that surrounds us all and is dedicated to using his experiences in a way that influences others in a positive direction.

Anna is a graduate of The Wellspring School for Healing Arts and a certified member of the AOBTA. She brings her enthusiasm and warmth to her bodywork treatments. She has a passion for food and nutrition that has been cultivated through her lifetime of experience with food from growing to cooking it. She works to share this knowledge with her clients to help bring new energy to their own nutrition. She is currently taking the Wholistic Nutrtion Program at the Wellspring School for Healing Arts and is enjoying the new perspectives on food that she is learning. Anna is also teaching several classes for the Amma Bodywork Program
